Shipping

LAFI Burkina Products

LAFI Burkina Products are sold and dispatched by Printful. The shipping rates for these products are calculated by Printful according to the items in your order.

Handmade Crafts

Handmade Crafts are sold and dispatched by LAFI Burkina. We aim to dispatch these orders within 3 working days of your order being placed. We use Royal Mail Signed For to ship all items purchased in our online shop, at a flat rate of £5 per order.

Depending on the weight of your item or items, we reserve the right to select First Class (usually delivered the next day) or Second Class (usually delivered in 2-3 days) shipping, in order to ensure that we are not obliged to use charity funds to meet shipping costs not covered by the postage paid as part of the order.

For orders containing multiple items, we may separate these into several packages depending on the volume of your items.

We will email you to let you know when your order has been dispatched.

Please note that, if your order contains both LAFI Burkina Products and Handmade Crafts, you will be charged two shipping rates: one by Printful and one by LAFI Burkina.

Returns & Refunds

We want you to be happy with your purchase, however, we understand that sometimes there may be problems with your order.

Cancellations

You may cancel your order at any point before it has been dispatched. Once your order has been dispatched, you will no longer be able to cancel it.

Damaged Item(s)

If your item or items arrive damaged, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order, with the following information:

  • Your order number (you can also reply to your original order email)
  • Details of the item or items that arrived damaged, including photographs of the damage and of the packaging

We will then contact you with instructions on next steps to allow us to process a refund or exchange.

If you do not contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to let us know about a damaged item or items, then we will unfortunately be unable to process a refund or exchange for your order.

If a refund is awarded, this will be applied to the original method of payment used for the order.

Unfortunately, we are unable to issue a refund or exchange for any items sent to you as part of our Free Online Shop Gift promotion.

Order Not Delivered

If, 10 days after the due delivery date, you still have not received your order, we will consider it lost by Royal Mail. In such cases, we will issue you with a full refund for the order.

Unwanted Items

If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your order, you may return it to us (at your own expense) within 28 days of receiving it. To do this, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order, with the following information:

  • Your order number (you can also reply to your original order email)
  • Details of the unwanted item or items

We will then contact you with instructions on how to return your item to us.

Please note that returns will only be processed if the item or items are returned to us in the same condition that they were delivered to you, and in their original packaging.

We advise that you use a tracked postage service to return an item to us, as we are unable to issue a refund if we do not receive the return. We also reserve the right to issue you with a partial refund if the item you return to us is received damaged.

Please note that:

  • For sanitary reasons, we are unable to accept returns for any unwanted earrings and, consequently, any necklace and earrings sets.
  • We are unable to accept returns for any unwanted LAFI Burkina Products, as these are printed on-demand when an order is submitted.
